Petroleum Engineering


Students enrolled in this program complete a set of foundation Engineering units, core units in Petroleum Engineering and a number of option units.

Course details

Total points required for this course: 192 

All units have a value of 6 points unless indicated otherwise.

Students must complete the following:

  • The foundation Engineering units - 36 points
  • The core units in Software Engineering - 126 points
  • Two option units from Group A - 12 points
  • Option units to make up remaining points from Groups A, B and C provided that no more than 18 points are grom Group C; and
  • A Professional Practicum of at least 12 weeks.
