Environmental Engineering


Students complete core and option units in Environmental Engineering as well as specialising in environmental, ocean systems or water resource engineering.

Course details:

Total points required for this course: 192

Students must complete the following (as set out in the table below):

  • The foundation Engineering units - 36 points;
  • The core units in Environmental Engineering - 90 points;
  • A major in Environmental Engineering, Ocean Systems Engineering, or Water Resources Engineering - 30 points
  • one option unit from Group A - 6 points
  • three option units from Group B -  18 points
  • option units to make up remaining points from Groups B and C, provided that no more than 12 points are from Group C; and
  • A Professional Practicum of at least 12 weeks..
