Bachelor of Commerce or Economics/Bachelor of Engineering (Mining)


This course allows students to combine studies in Mining Engineering with studies in Economics or Commerce.

Course details:

Total points required for this course: 252-258
Bachelor of Engineering component: 168 points
Bachelor of Arts component: 84-90 points

Students must complete the following (as set out in the table below):

  • The foundation Engineering units - 36 points;
  • The core units in Mining Engineering - 114 points;
  • three option units from Group A - 18 points;
  • A Professional Practicum of at least 12 weeks; and
  • A Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Economics component - 84-90 points
