This course allows students to combine studies in Petroleum Engineering with a broad based degree in arts, humanities and social sciences.

Total points required for this course: 264
Bachelor of Engineering component: 168 points
Bachelor of Arts component: 96 points

Students must complete the following (as set out in the table below):

  • The foundation Engineering units - 36 points;
  • The core units in Petroleum Engineering (except for MECH4400 Engineering for Sustainable Development) - 120 points;
  • two option units from Group A - 12 points;
  • A Professional Practicum of at least 12 weeks; and
  • A Bachelor of Arts component - 96 points
