Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental)


This course allows students to combine studies in Environmental Engineering with a broad based degree in arts, humanities and social sciences.

Course details:

Total points required for this course: 264
Bachelor of Engineering component: 168 points
Bachelor of Arts component: 96 points

Students must complete the following (as set out in the table below):

  • The foundation Engineering units - 36 points;
  • The core units in Environmental Engineering - 90 points;
  • A major in Environmental Engineering, Ocean Systems Engineering, or Water Resources Engineering - 30 points
  • one option unit from Group A - 6 points
  • one option unit from Group B -  6 points;
  • A Professional Practicum of at least 12 weeks; and
  • A Bachelor of Arts component - 96 points
