The Faculty will only check students who indicate that they are completing in the current year unless a specific request is made.
When re-enrolling:
When you enrol online in a unit and it is identified as invalid, contact the Faculty office. You should still attend lectures, laboratory and tutorial classes marked as invalid until you've received advice from the Faculty.
If your unit choices are displayed as invalid when you re-enrol, it may be because:
If you have an invalid unit and you want the invalid status to be waived, you should email the Faculty office. Units showing as invalid at the end of Week 3 of semester will be deleted.
If you have an invalid unit and you do not want to remain enrolled in this unit, please email the Faculty office with your name, student number, unit code and unit name (of the unit you want deleted) and the Faculty will remove it for you.
Use the Study guides.
Ensure you have chosen the correct program and/or major(s).
Students in single degrees who wish to take units from those available within the University (electives), should first seek the special approval of the Head of School before enrolling in that unit. This does not apply to students enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering program if they wish to choose units from the pre-approved list.
Students doing a combined degree (Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Commerce) with a program in Mechanical engineering cannot do a major in Oil and Gas Engineering.
Familiarise yourself with the rules of your course before re-enrolling.
Students who do not have a study plan for 2010 should contact their course co-ordinator.
Students who wish to take a unit which deviates from the rules for their course will need a Special Approval form.
Please ensure you familiarise yourself with the rules of your course before re-enrolling.
