The Graduate Diploma is intended for students or professionals who have completed a tertiary degree and are interested in developing strong skills in computing and information technology.

Course outline

Students will complete a 48 point program of Level 1 and Level 2 units.

The course consists of units to a total value of 48 points comprising not more than six units from Group A, and not more than four units from Group B.

  • CITS1200 Java Programming
  • CITS1210 C Programming
  • CITS1211 Foundations of Computer Science
  • CITS1220 Software Engineering
  • CITS1230 Foundations of Information Technology
  • CITS1231 Web Technologies
  • one Level 1 unit from the School of Mathematics and Statistics

Group B

Admission requirements

A bachelor's degree of this University in a discipline other than information technology or equivalent.
