Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours in Civil Engineering (2002)

Graduating from the School of Civil and Resource Engineering, I embarked upon a career with the petroleum division of BHP Billiton. My job involved working in a dedicated project team to design, produce and identify solutions that would enable BHP to further enhance its LNG capability.

I joined BHP's Trinidad and Tobago Asset Team in Houston for the Angostura Field Development. My role involves the transportation and installation of all the offshore platforms, loading systems, pipelines and umbilicals for the Angostura Project. In this position, I have travelled extensively both within the United States and internationally.

There is no question that the Civil Engineering degree I obtained from UWA has served as a solid foundation for my professional career. The skills I developed during my undergraduate days have been of real value and I look forward to seeing where these skills take me next.
