We place great emphasis on integrated learning, where techniques such as project-based and problem-based learning, working in multidisciplinary teams, learning from the environment and developing technical skills are used to produce highly skilled, employment-ready graduates.
The following student facilities help us achieve this unique approach to learning.
The Monadelphous Integrated Learning Centre combines world-class teaching and practical engineering training in a learning environment that simulates a professional workplace.
Students benefit from interaction with academics and industry and students in different years and disciplines of engineering study, but most importantly, the centre is well-equipped for students to work on ‘real world’ projects, from design through to prototype development and client presentation.
The newly refurbished Clough Engineering Student Centre provides a 24/7 base for students studying our courses.
The centre’s flexible and dynamic space not only facilities team-based learning and private study time with its meeting rooms, seminar rooms and self-study areas, but additionally it provides a social anchor on campus for our diverse cohort of students.
