Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics

This lecture honours Dr George Hondros, who was for many years a senior member of staff of UWA's Department of Civil Engineering, now the School of Civil and Resource Engineering.

He was highly respected by his peers, and acknowledged as a leader in his profession. The Dr George Hondros Memorial Fund was established in 1967 to pay tribute to his contributions to the fields of Civil and Structural Engineering, with donations from members of the Greek community, students, colleagues and other friends.
