Dr Harold Clough
UWA Engineering graduate, Dr Harold Clough, is leading the way towards realising a vision for world-class facilities in engineering education at UWA. Through a generous donation, Dr Clough is supporting the Faculty’s vision to develop an Integrated Learning Centre – an innovative learning environment for undergraduate students, one that supports both collaboration and innovation.
Dr Clough is highly distinguished in Australia's engineering industry. He joined the Clough family company in 1954, serving as Managing Director until 1988, and Chairman of Clough Limited until late 2002. He was named WA Citizen of the Year in Industry and Commerce in 1983, and won the Australasian Institution of Electrical Engineers James N Kirby Award and the Institution of of Engineers Australia, Peter Nicol Russell Memorial Medal in 1993 and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (WA) inaugural gold medal for contributions to engineering, industry and commerce in 1994. In 1997 Dr Clough received a Services to Construction Award from the Australian Contractors' Association in recognition of his lifelong contribution to the construction industry. In April 2000, Dr Clough was named one of Australia's Export Heroes.
There has been considerable interaction between Clough Engineering and UWA's Engineering Schools over many years. The Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics is pleased to continue our partnership with Dr Clough into the future.

Lycopodicum is an engineering consulting company with offices in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Gladstone in Australia and in West Africa and the Phillipines.
Their expertise covers a broad range of engineering disciplines and they operate nationally and internationally.
The Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics is pleased to have established a partnership with Lycopodium in our Integrated Learning Centre.
