Engineers Australia's 'The Year of Women in Engineering' was in 2007 to celebrate the achievements of female engineering graduates.
The Faculty hosted a special cocktail party to celebrate.
This event recognised individual achievements of women engineers and the University’s achievement in awarding 875 female graduates with a Bachelor of Engineering degree since 1973.
Some 120 graduates returned to UWA, along with industry guests and University staff.
The highlight of the evening was the speech by General Manager of the Water Corporation Sue Murphy.
