30-year engineering reunion
In October 2007, the class of 78 had a great turnout, with alumni coming from interstate. Tom Krapeshlis came from Sydney and Kit Wignall from Melbourne.
Guests to the pre-dinner drinks included Professor Mark Bush (Dean of the Faculty), Professor Andrew Deeks (Head of School of Civil and Resource Engineering), Professor James Trevelyan, Associate Professor Gary Bundell, Professor Terry Woodings, and Associate Professor Brett Nener.

Graduates who completed their courses in 1978 and 1979 attended a reunion function at the UWA Boat Shed in October 2003.
