Sincere thanks to Mike Corboy, Meng Kim Lee, Barry Gibson, Barry Sanders and Ray Thurloe for helping drive this reunion, particularly for the time and effort to locate lost graduates.
The class of 1956 celebrated its 50-year reunion in November 2007.
Out of the original group of 38 graduates, 21 alumni and their partners were involved in the celebrations.
Several former lecturers and partners also attended the dinner at The University Club.
Graduates travelled from as far a field as Canada and the United States, as well as several from interstate.
A booklet was produced as part of the celebrations. The booklet provides a comparison of engineering in WA in the 1950s with today. Biographies of the class of 1956 included in the booklet outline the contribution made by our graduates over the past 50 years.
